Iprova is very pleased to announce that the company’s Founder and CEO, Julian Nolan has been named in the highly prestigious IAM Strategy 300 listing of key figures in the intellectual property world. The list also includes two members of Iprova’s Advisory Board, Ruud Peters and Peter Finnie. Ruud was the long-time Chief Intellectual Property Officer of Philips, while Peter is a Partner at leading London-based patent and trademark firm Potter Clarkson. Dr Stephen Potter, who is an Iprova Adviser, is also again named in the recently published list.
The annual analysis of the world’s pre-eminent IP strategists lists those whose world-class skills in the development and roll-out of strategies maximise the value of patents, copyright, trademarks and other IP rights. As IAM editor Joff Wild explains “Intellectual property helps to drive the 21st century economy, creating strong incentives to invest in the creation and roll-out of brands and all types of content, as well as the innovation process. This makes IP strategists more important than they have ever been before. Their ability to create significant value makes them indispensable, wherever in the world they operate,”
Commenting on his inclusion in the IAM Strategy 300, Julian Nolan said: “Innovation and invention have never been more important. The explosion of information, product convergence and the “burden of knowledge” are all impacting on the human ability to invent, in a world where competition is ever-increasing. Iprova’s data-driven approach is revolutionising IP and invention and it is pleasing to see this recognised at an industry level. “
He added “IAM invests considerable time and effort into identifying the right candidates for inclusion and I am very honoured to be in the 2023 edition of the IAM 300. It is also great to see three Iprova colleagues included in the list. They have been an important part of the exciting Iprova journey, which has seen the company continue to grow and develop. BIC and other customers opening their own data-driven invention labs is just the latest in a long line of achievements”.
