Pioneering AI invention company Iprova has added a leading innovation academic to its advisory board. Professor Cyril Bouquet, who is Professor of Strategy and Innovation at IMD Business School, becomes a member of the board only a short time after AI expert Dr Catherine Breslin also joined.
Besides a wide-ranging and high-profile academic career, which also involves consulting assignments for several multinational corporations, Professor Bouquet is also an established author on innovation and related topics. He is co-author of “ALIEN Thinking: The Unconventional Path to Breakthrough Ideas”, which brings fresh thinking to this fascinating topic. Cyril holds an MBA from the University of Ottawa and a PhD from the Ivey Business School at Western University in Canada.
Commenting on his appointment, Professor Bouquet said: “This is a great time to be joining Iprova on its exciting journey. I have been studying innovation and invention for many years and I can see how adoption of Iprova’s data-driven approach to invention is really gaining momentum. With an enviable client base of leading multinational enterprises and the excitement of its current fundraising round, I am really looking forward to becoming part of the Iprova team.”
Julian Nolan, Iprova’s Founder and CEO, concludes: “Cyril is an acknowledged expert in his field and we look forward to working with him to use his knowledge and experience to help Iprova’s development. His background complements the advisory board’s current areas of expertise perfectly and I really value their ongoing contribution to Iprova’s growth”.
